About me

I am a consultant cardiologist at Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals. I take great pride to be working in a fantastic NHS hospital. I also provide private consultations and treatment for all aspects of cardiac care. My sub-specialty interest is cardiac arrhythmia management and device implantation (Cardiac Electrophysiology). Trained at London’s prestigious cardiac centres (London Heart Hospital and St Bartholomew’s hospital), I maintain a high level of expertise and treat all aspects of cardiac arrhythmia. I am an entrepreneur and possess strong interest in medical innovation. Some of my innovations are currently patent pending. I have published in peer reviewed journals and have reviewed many papers. I obtained MD research degree in Cardiology in 2012 from the prestigious University College London (UCL). I maintain strong research interests. I was awarded Europen Heart Rhythm Association fellowship for catheter ablation in 2016 and have obtained highly specialised focused training at San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, Italy- a world renowned centre for ventricular tachycardia ablations.
My specific specialist procedural skills for cardiac patient care includes, Atrial Fibrillation ablation (Radiofrequency and Cryo ablation), Electrophysiology study and ablation of Supraventricular Tachycardias, Atrial Flutter ablation, Ablation of Ventricular Tachycardias, Implantation of Pacemakers, Intra cardiac Defibrillators (ICD), Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy (CRT) pacemakers and defibrillators, Subcutaneous ICDs and Device/Lead extractions.
I provide NHS consultations for cardiac arrhythmia care at Royal Bournemouth Hospital. I provide private consultations and treatment mainly at Dorset Heart Clinic (Private Cardiology wing of Royal Bournemouth Hospital). In addition I have practising privileges at Nuffield health Bournemouth.
