About me

I am an Independent Counselling Psychologist with a Private Practice based in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. I continue to work with clients from West Wales, as most of my work is now online. I will be offering face to face sessions hopefully in the near future, however these will primarily be available in Gloucestershire, occasionally in Carmarthenshire.
My practice includes Individual and Group Psychotherapy; Consultancy, (including legal work); Supervision and Training. Mindfulness instruction is also available for groups and individuals.
I offer an Integrative Psychotherapy approach which is strongly Mindfulness based and incorporates Compassionate Mind based therapy
My psychological and therapeutic approach has developed over many years experience working as a Psychologist within the NHS, working with a broad range of client's and issues; working with staff teams - training and consultancy; and supervising a range of professionals.
My ethos as a Psychologist is one of being Mindful of: the 'whole' person (an holistic approach); respect and compassion; empowerment; equality; transparency and openness; being empathic and non-judgemental; confidentiality and adhering to professional guidelines for practice.
