About me
Dr Laura Proudfoot is a UK and US-trained Consultant Dermatologist. She consults on all general dermatology in children and adults and has a specialist interest and sub-specialty training in paediatric & adolescent dermatology. She studied medicine at the University of Edinburgh where she was also awarded an honours degree in Psychology. She undertook postgraduate training at the St John's Institute of Dermatology and was then selected for a prestigious paediatric dermatology fellowship at Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago, USA. She was awarded a PhD degree in Genetics and Molecular Medicine from King's College London. She has published extensively and authored UK guidelines on the management of tinea capitis and haemangiomas.
