About me
Dr Mukherjee is a consultant in rheumatology based at The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He is experienced in managing inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue diseases, osteoporosis and crystal arthropathies like gout and pseudogout as well as patients with spinal pain and radiculopathies. He leads the departmental spinal pain service at Christchurch Hospital where he does a combined clinic every month with a spinal surgeon and organises the spinal MDT meetings. He also sees patients with osteoarthritis and chronic pain conditions like Fibromyalgia. He is the departmental lead for audit and clinical governance and he is involved with various clinical research studies in rheumatology. He also has a keen interest in teaching and learning and his dissertation for the Masters in Medical Education was based on clinical and educational supervision.
