About me
Ewan Wilson is a UK trained plastic surgeon specialising in all aspects of skin cancer care, management, surgery and reconstruction. He provides a specialist service for diagnosis, removal and reconstruction of all skin and soft tissue tumours beneath the skin both benign and malignant.
His major interest is Melanoma and he offers a full service including the new and gold standard technique of sentinel lymph node biopsy as well as lymph node dissection to all lymph node basins.
Ewan qualified at one of the UK’s top medical schools, St Mary’s Hospital London, which is now part of Imperial College School of Medicine. His surgical training was in London before specialising in Plastic Surgery.
His plastic surgery and aesthetic training was across London, East Anglia and USA at units such as Mount Vernon, Cambridge, Norwich, Chelmsford, the Texas Trauma Institute and the MD Anderson Cancer Centre culminating in the prestigious UK skin cancer fellowship. He has a Masters degree from the University of Wales, Swansea in Trauma Surgery.
Ewan is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon based in Bristol and works at North Bristol NHS Trust, Bristol University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Gloucester Royal Hospital and NHS Foundation Trust.
Ewan is trained in both surgical and non surgical cosmetic procedures including cosmetic breast surgery (augmentation, reduction and uplift), body contouring surgery, abdominoplasty, scar revision and prominent ear correction to name a few.
Ewan is on the GMC’s specialist register and is a full member of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS).
