About me

I'm an experienced and accredited psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience supporting adolescents and adults across a broad range of settings, including schools and the NHS.

My approach is integrative, drawing on evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples. This allows me to tailor therapy to each person's unique needs and goals.

CBT has a well-established evidence base for treating difficulties such as depression, anxiety (including phobias, panic, excessive worry, social anxiety, and post-traumatic stress), and eating disorders. EMDR is also an effective, research-supported treatment for trauma and distressing life experiences.

I'm an accredited member of both the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and EMDR UK. I follow their ethical guidelines and maintain ongoing professional development to ensure my practice remains current and effective.
