About me
I completed my training in General Internal Medicine and Rheumatology in the London-South Thames rotation. I have worked in tertiary and district general hospitals acquiring a breadth of experience in managing general and complex rheumatological conditions.
I have a particular interest in managing vasculitis and connective tissue conditions. I am trained in musculoskeletal ultrasound for assessment of inflammatory arthritis. My masters research, which was conducted at Guys & St. Thomas' and Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals, explored the role of FDG-PET imaging in the management of large vessel vasculitis. I have a special interest in management of large vessel vasculitis and the role of different imaging modalities in managing these conditions.
I have successfully led and developed a musculoskeletal/rheumatology ultrasound service at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust and run a weekly ultrasound clinic since 2017.
I am married with 2 young kids and spend my spare time with family , playing tennis and reading books.
