About me
Dr Bhuvan Kishore is a Consultant Haematologist with over 20 years of clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of blood disorders and blood cancers. He trained in London and Birmingham, and completed a coveted fellowship in Bone Marrow Transplantation at Hammersmith Hospital, one of the UK's leading centres for haematological transplant medicine, before joining University Hospitals Birmingham.
Dr Kishore has extensive experience managing the full range of haematological conditions, including multiple myeloma, lymphoma, acute and chronic leukaemia, anaemia, B12 deficiency, thrombosis, and both allogeneic and autologous stem cell transplantation. He delivers haematology care across Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Heartlands, and Solihull Hospitals and private clinics at The Harborne Hospital in Edgbaston, Spire Parkway in Solihull and Spire Little Aston at Sutton Coldfield.
He serves as a lead investigator in clinical trials through the research units at QE and Heartlands, with a current research focus on myeloma, and contributes to a national guideline development group for myeloma care. Patients under his care may also gain access to relevant NHS clinical trials, particularly for myeloma and bone marrow transplant.
Dr Kishore serves as a Board Member of the UK Myeloma Society (UKMS), the national body dedicated to improving myeloma care through clinical trials, treatment guidelines, and advocacy for patient access to treatment across the UK. In this role, he contributes to shaping national standards of care and helps ensure his patients benefit from the latest developments in myeloma research and guideline-driven best practice.
Known for his approachable manner and clear communication, Dr Kishore is committed to treating every patient with compassion and providing accessible, efficient care with consultations typically offered within 24 to 48 hours.
