About me

Maggie Reilly, BPC, FPC, a psychoanalytic psychotherapist registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council through its member institution, The Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC). She currently works in private practice with adults over the age of 18.

The type of therapy provided is long term open ended, on a one to one basis. Sessions are once weekly but could be more if needed. Remote working is possible although it is preferrable to work in person.

Maggie has many years experience working with adults in private practice, charities and the voluntary sector as well as the NHS in an acute psychiatric setting.

She trained at WPF Therapy where she obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Theory and Practice validated by Roehampton University. She followed this with a further training at WPF Therapy where she obtained a Postgraduate diploma in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy also validated by Roehampton University.

Following her training, Maggie supervised trainees on the Psychotherapy training at WPF, for six years.

She has also served on the BPC's screening committee, as part of the organisations complaints procedure and is currently on both the Ethics Committee and the PAP Section committee at FPC, her graduate body.
