About me
Dr Yassir Khiyar is a consultant Gastroenterology at Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust since 2009 and a fellow of the Royal College of Physician London. He is also a senior clinical tutor at York Hull Medical School and director of East Yorkshire School of Endoscopy (one of England endoscopy training centers).
Dr Yassir Khiyar specializes in investigating and managing acid reflux/heart burn and its complications; abdominal pain; rectal bleeding; anemia due to low iron, jaundice and change in bowel habit.
I am also accredited nationally for bowel cancer screening and his special interest is advanced therapeutic endoscopy and colonoscopy for gastrointestinal polyps
