About me
Dr Cooke graduated from Nottingham University Medical School in 1999 and, following a period of general medical training, she completed her dermatology specialist training in 2011. She has been working as a Consultant Dermatologist in the NHS since 2011 and has considerable experience in the management of a wide range of dermatological complaints in adults and children.
During her training, she was awarded an M Phil research degree by the Queens University of Belfast for a project investigating the causes of atopic dermatitis. She also has an interest in medical education and was awarded Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education from the University of Dundee. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and a member of both the British and Irish Association of Dermatologists.
She has an interest in diseases of the hair and scalp, and is a member of the British Hair and Nail Society. She has been involved in research looking at the causes of scarring alopecia and is a peer reviewer for the Journal of Clinical & Experimental Dermatology.
