About me

Mr Deepu Sethi is a specialist knee surgeon with extensive experience of sports injuries and treatment of the degenerative knee. Mr Sethi has a particular expertise in sports injuries, complex ligament repair / reconstruction, meniscal surgery and repair, joint preservation surgery and both partial and total knee replacements.

Mr Sethi qualified at University College London Medical School. He then went on to complete his specialist orthopaedic training at Oswestry and Birmingham.

Mr Sethi's subspecialty fellowship training was focused on knee sports injuries and joint reconstruction in Australia and in the UK.

Mr Deepu Sethi was appointed as Consultant Orthopaedic Knee Surgeon at Homerton University Hospital, where he is the lead surgeon for knee and joint replacement surgery. In addition he is an active surgical trainer and educational supervisor.

Mr Sethi collects data on the outcome of his surgery and registers his patients on the National Ligament Registry dedicated to analysing and improving the outcome of Cruciate ligament reconstruction.
