About me

I qualified as a doctor in 1987 and have worked as a consultant psychiatrist in both the UK and Australia since 1998. I am accredited in General Adult Psychiatry and Liaison Psychiatry; working in both the general hospital setting for the NHS and Yorkshire Private Psychiatry Clinics.

I am also an accredited Practitioner in EMDR, a specialised form of psychotherapy that can be used successfully to reprocess traumatic memories. I will assess you but refer you to a colleague if EMDR is indicated.
