About me
I have developed non vascular Interventional Radiology and particularly Embolization therapy extensively over the last 20 years. I now have one of the largest experiences of Uterine Fibroid Embolisation (UFE) of any practicing UK practitioner with well over 3500 cases worldwide.
I have set up Fibroid Embolisation programs in the Caribbean and East Africa and regularly train and proctor Interventional Fellows and new consultants in UFE.
I have pioneered Prostate Artery Embolisation (PAE) in the UK. I am widely published, lecture Nationally and Internationally and sit on all the PAE guidelines committees in UK and Europe and have trained most of the other practicing IRs in the UK.
I have been responsible for bringing PAE into routine use in the NHS and have been working on NHS tariffs.
