About me
I am a UK-trained Trauma and Orthopaedic Consultant specialising in hip and knee surgery, with particular expertise in primary and complex joint replacement, revision surgery, and young adult hip conditions.
I qualified in 2005 from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' School of Medicine in London and completed my higher orthopaedic training in the Wessex Deanery. I currently work as an NHS Consultant at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and see private patients in Hampshire and London.
My practice focuses on providing clear diagnosis and tailored treatment, offering both non-operative and surgical management for hip and knee conditions, including arthritis, failed joint replacements, and complex reconstructive problems.
I completed an international fellowship in Australia specialising in complex primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery, as well as lower limb reconstructive tumour surgery. I have also undertaken a trauma fellowship in a Level 1 trauma centre in Denver, USA, giving me extensive experience in complex trauma and reconstruction.
I believe strongly in shared decision-making and ensuring patients fully understand their condition and treatment options. I offer face-to-face, video, and telephone consultations.

Primary and complex total hip replacement; revision total hip replacement; hip resurfacing; hip arthritis and hip pain; young adult hip conditions; femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) - assessment and non-arthroscopic management; management of metal-on-metal hip replacements; pelvic and acetabular reconstruction; hip trauma and fractures; abductor tendon tears and bursitis; avascular necrosis (AVN); hip injection therapy.
Knee conditions and surgery:
Primary and complex total knee replacement; revision total knee replacement; partial (unicompartmental) knee replacement; patellofemoral replacement; knee arthritis and knee pain; knee arthroscopy; meniscal tears and repair; osteochondral and chondral injuries; avascular necrosis and spontaneous osteonecrosis; knee injection therapy.
