About me

Whilst studying for her medical degree she also obatined a first class Bachelor degree of science from King’s College. After graduating from King’s college she went on to specilalize in paediatric medicine completing her training at the Bart’s and the London. Dr Thangarajah then went onto subspecialize in paeditric gastroenterology completing her training on the prestigous accredited London circuit, gaining experience in paediatric gastroenterology, nutrition and hepatology in the major teaching hospitals’ in London. During this time she completed her PhD at Imperial College focussing on nutritional assessment in children with chronic gastrointestinal conditions. Research is still very much part of her clinical work as an NHS consultant.
Dr Thangarajah’s approach is a holistic one and the aims to deliver a consultant led service to her patients. She joined King’s College in 2015 after completing her PhD. She since has started at Chelsea and Westminster hospital NHS foundation trust as a consultant and is now involved in delivery of specialist services including, motility, feeding clinic, food allergy clinic, inflammatory bowel disease and transitional services for children with inflammatory bowel disease and intestinal service.
