About me
I have been a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Addenbrooke's and The Rosie Hospital over 25 years and in a leadership role for most of those years. I have recently relinquished my obstetric responsibilities to focus on the development of gynaecological services for the Trust.
I am an accredited (Briitsh Menopause Society) Specialist and Trainer in the management of menopause related problems.
I provide medico-legal opinions for both claimants and defendants.
As an active member of the BSGE I am well versed in the latest laparoscopic and hysteroscopic techniques where needed.
All specialists must recognise the limits of their skill set and thus in some instances I will refer patients to see a colleague if that is in their best interests.
I am married to a consultant paediatrician and continuously strive to keep up with my family whether running, on the tennis court, or skiing downhill.

Menstrual disorders including the management of fibroids; peri-menopausal problems including advice on HRT and early menopause; hysteroscopic surgery, endometrial ablation and other minimally invasive treatments; pelvic pain including endometriosis; early pregnancy problems; ovarian cysts; contraception.
