About me

Mr Osborne has clinics for gallstones and hernia patients most weeks with face to face or video clinics available to book online now. He can normally see you for a consultation within a week of your enquiry. He has weekly private operating lists and can normally operate within weeks due to excellent theatre capacity.
Mr Osborne is a specialist surgeon in weight loss, gallstones and keyhole hernia repair. He is currently the Chair leading the Medical Advisory committee for Nuffield hospital Bristol having been the member representing general surgery for many years. Before this he was the lead surgeon for the upper gastro-intestinal surgery team in North Bristol NHS trust and he maintains his NHS work. He has been an established private surgeon providing outstanding care for many years and he continues to publish original scientific articles in his field. Now having performed over 3000 operations and robotic surgery we are delighted he works in the Bristol hospitals. He was a Royal College of Surgeons (England) Hunterian Professor of Surgery in 2012 awarded for his work in weight loss surgery. In his spare time he volunteers as the chair of Clevedon swimming club and a qualified level 2 Judge for Swim England. This allows him to help children and young adults swim and compete at the highest levels including nationally.
