I am an experienced Clinical Psychologist who has been previously working in the NHS since 2005. I have worked in primary care, community mental health teams and specialist eating disorder services. My main therapeutic orientation is CBT but I integrate systemic methods as well. I work individually with people, but also run therapy groups.
I have experience of helping people with a variety of moderate to severe problems including: anxiety, depression, OCD, stress, personality disorder, eating disorder, addictions, psychosis, suicide and self harm. I have worked across community, outpatient and inpatient settings with people from a range of different backgrounds.
In addition to my clinical work, I have also worked as a Clinical Psychology tutor and clinical supervisor. I am registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC)

Current NHS consultant posts held
I am currently hold a clinical post as a clinical lead psychologist at the Students' Health Centre, University of Bristol, which is a primary care GP practice. I am the clinical lead of the Student Health Emotion Regulation Pathway, which helps young people with a variety of mental health problems that are complex or come with risk.
As a researcher and former research tutor, I have published in the fields of Personality Disorder, Schizophrenia and neuropsychology in peer reviewed journals. Most recently, I have supervised and collaborated on research projects in eating disorders and integrative therapeutic practice.
Although most of my NHS work has been working with people who have long standing complex problems, I am really keen to work with people who don't usually access services or whose needs are not currently well met. That includes working with men, people from diverse backgrounds, working professionals who can't access mental health services within working hours and people who don't neatly fit with existing services.
