About me
Dr Andrew Pink is a Consultant Dermatologist and Honorary Clinical Lecturer at St. John’s Institute of Dermatology, Guy’s & St. Thomas’ Hospital, London. St. John’s Institute of Dermatology is one of the world’s leading centres for the investigation and treatment of patients with skin disease. Dr Pink adopts a holistic approach to care and consults on all general dermatology, eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, acute rashes and skin cancer. He performs all outpatient based dermatological procedures, including skin biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy (freezing with liquid nitrogen) and steroid injections for hair loss, acne cysts and keloid scars. He is experienced in assessing all forms of skin cancer, performing mole checks and surgically removing any suspicious lesions.
Dr Andrew Pink trained at Nottingham Medical school and underwent his clinical dermatological training at St. John’s Institute of Dermatology. He was awarded a highly prestigious Academic Clinical Fellowship and subsequently Academic Clinical Lectureship at the Institute. He successfully completed a PhD in medical dermatology during his training and continues to be very actively involved in skin research, running a number of trials assessing new treatments in conditions such as eczema and psoriasis at Guy’s & St. Thomas’ Hospitals. He is widely published in peer-reviewed Dermatology journals and has received numerous distinguished prizes including a Medical Research Council Centenary Award.
