About me

I am an experienced, BACP Accredited Counsellor and Integrative Psychotherapist with over 20 years of delivering therapy to adults. Throughout my career I have worked extensively within the NHS, counselling services, Occupational Health Services, Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs) and health insurance providers.

I work with adults aged 18 and over and offer a safe, supportive and confidential space where you can explore the difficulties you may be facing. My approach is integrative, drawing on Person-Centred, Relational and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches to ensure therapy is tailored to your individual needs and goals.

I believe that many of the ways we think, feel and relate to others are influenced by our life experiences and relationships. By developing a trusting therapeutic relationship, I aim to help you gain greater self-awareness, overcome challenges and make meaningful, lasting changes in your life.

Whether you are experiencing emotional distress, facing a significant life change, or simply feeling stuck, I provide a non-judgemental environment where you can explore your concerns at your own pace. Together, we will identify what you hope to achieve from therapy and work towards goals that are important to you.

As a registered and accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework, ensuring a professional, ethical and confidential service at all times.

Appointments are available face-to-face in LS17 and Headingley, Leeds, or by telephone. New clients can usually be seen within two weeks, with telephone appointments often available within one week.
