About me

Mr Said Mohamed is a General and Colorectal Surgeon with a special interest in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery. He specialises in the surgical treatment of bowel cancer and inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's and colitis). In addition he offers treatments for benign bowel conditions such as haemorrhoids (piles) and anal fistula. Mr Mohamed is a highly skilled colonoscopist and specialises in the management of large colonic polyps. He is also a General Surgeon with skills to manage all types of abdominal wall hernias.
Mr Mohamed qualified in medicine from the University of Oxford and has obtained a higher surgical training from the London Deanery. After completing his training, Mr Mohamed gained further specialised training in laparoscopic surgery and colorectal surgery at prestigious hospitals including the Royal Surrey County hospital in Guildford, The University College Hospital in London, Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in London.
