About me
Mr Mitchell was appointed as a General and Gastrointestinal surgeon at Barnet General Hospital in 1994. He has developed several services including specialist upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy, hernia repairs and benign and malignant gastrointestinal surgery.
He has held a number of senior managerial roles as Clinical Director of Surgery, Medical Director of the Barnet and Chase Farm NHS Trust, Deputy Medical Director of Royal Free Hospital London NHS Trust and now Ambassador to NHS England
