About me
My name is Angela Connoley and I am a qualified, registered therapeutic counsellor.
I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
I believe that the counselling relationship is very special. It provides space that's yours where you can explore your inner thoughts and feelings in confidence and safety.
Therapy offers you a place to talk about your life and anything that may be difficult, confusing, painful or uncomfortable. It allows you to talk with someone who can listen attentively, understand things from your perspective and work with you to help you improve things.
Therapy is a very personal process. It is possible that talking about things that might be difficult or painful may lead to a period of feeling worse than when you started. However, the aim is to experience and overcome this as part of the therapeutic process enabling you to move forward and feel better. The sole aim is to improve the quality of your life.
