About me
Chris graduated from Coventry University in 2006 and started his career working at Manchester Royal Infirmary. He moved on to Oldham in 2008 gaining experience in acute stroke, rehabilitation and community care. He then worked for a private hospital and gained experience in Bariatric Surgery, before being appointed Bariatric Specialist Dietitian and Weight Management Team lead at Salford Royal Hospital in 2009.
Chris has been working with the Intestinal Failure team at Salford Royal since 2010 and has gained extensive experience managing the nutritional needs of complex gastrointestinal conditions. His mixture of dietetic experience in bariatric surgery and intestinal failure is unique within the UK.
Chris has presented at numerous national conferences and been involved in several international training days. He completed his Master of Research Degree at Manchester University in 2012, investigating iron deficiency following bariatric surgery. He hopes to complete a PhD in the future.
