About me
I qualified in medicine in 1980 from St Bartholomew's hospital, London and was appointed as a consultant in 1990. Postgraduate training in Haematology was at the Royal London and Hammersmith hospitals. My NHS consultant career has been at Epsom and St Helier where I am the clinical director for outpatient services and have previously been the clinical lead for cancer. I have served as an examiner at the Royal College of Pathologists. My clinical interests are in Haematological cancers and general non-malignant Haematology including venous thrombosis.

Adult Haematology; Anticoagulation; Myeloma; Anaemia; Haematological oncology; Leukaemia; Lymphoma; chemotherapy; high and low white cell and/or platelet counts; assessment of paraproteins; iron overload (haemochromatosis); assessment of bleeding tendency and thrombosis; bone marrow biopsy when required in investigation; myeloproliferative neoplasms.
