About me
I have been awarded 3 Fellowships in General and Colorectal Surgery, two Fellowships of Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in UK and third Fellowship of European Board of Surgery (FEBS).
I am proud to be one of the 25 UK colorectal surgeons who, since 1998, have been awarded (FEBS); this is the only sub- specialty qualification awarded in colorectal surgery across Europe and the UK.
As first or supervising author, I have published review articles as well as papers on innovative surgical techniques in high impact peer reviewed national and international journals. I have also presented my work in several prestigious national and international scientific conferences.

Areas of interest
Colonoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Gastroscopy:
To investigate rectal bleeding, altered bowel habit, weight loss, dysphagia, dyspepsia, acid reflux, diarrhoea, abdominal pain.
In the last 4 years (2016-19) I have performed more than 6000 procedures (2195 colonoscopies, 2870 Flexible Sigmoidoscopies and 1152 Gastroscopies) with outcomes audited in accordance with strict Joint Advisory Group (JAG) on Gastrointestinal Endoscopy accreditation standards
