About me

I have many years of experience working with patients who present to Neurosciences. My job involves in-patient and out-patient working with the multi-disciplinary teams. Also contact with commissioners when referring patients to specialist neuro-rehabilitation centres. I have worked in a number of specialist centres since 1981, and have a good working knowledge of the local network and provider organisations. My current clinical work involves helping people adjust to significant life changing circumstances; assessment of cognition using formal and informal methods; therapy and treatment of psychological difficulties; and support to family members, close friends and signification others.

traumatic brain injury; cognitive change associated with neurological disease, injury or illness; neurological conditions; non epileptic attack disorder; other functional conditions that may have appeared to have a neurological basis; treatment and therapy with patients with neurological conditions; assistance with diagnosis of a neurological condition including early onset dementia; assessment of capacity; therapy for trauma associated with neurological injury, illness, disease; (e.g Parkinsons disease; MS; MND; epilepsy; post nerosurgical treatment)
