About me
Monika is a Specialist Gastroenterology and Eating Disorders Dietitian with a Bachelor of Clinical Nutrition and a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics. She has an extensive knowledge of the role of nutrition in disease, advising clients on dietary modifications to treat their condition whilst ensuring a balanced diet and preventing nutritional deficiency.
Her areas of specialist interest include:
Gut Health and Dietary Intolerances
Dietary counselling for: Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Constipation and Food Intolerances.
Women’s Health
The role of diet in fertility, hypothalamic amenorrhea (no periods) and PCOS.
Disordered Eating
Supporting individuals to recover from disordered eating, and the backlash of chronic dieting, as well as improving their relationship with food and their bodies. Monika believes in a body positive and weight inclusive approach that focuses on behaviours, not weight or numbers, as a key to lasting health, both physical and mental.
