About me
I am a physiotherapist with 34 years experience, 23 of which were as a specialist physiotherapist in the NHS. I worked as an extended scope practitioner until July 2015 and ran an independent clinic for hip,knee and ankle problems. I worked closely with Consultant Orthopaedic surgeons and Rheumatologists in this role and referred patients for MRI scans, X-Rays and blood tests as well as performing cortisone injections in joints and soft tissues. I have worked in two internationally renowned hand surgery units in the country. I hold a MSc in Manual therapy and have post graduate training in acupuncture and hand therapy.
Areas of interest
Low back pain; sciatica; neck pain; shoulder and upper arm pain; hip; knee and ankle pain. Hand conditions. Pre and post operative patients, fractures and sports injuries.
