About me

I worked at Kings college hospital as Consultant Rheumatologist before moving to Leicester. I am head of Rheumatology service for university hospital Leicester, leading the whole Rheumatology department. I have strong interest in research and currently leading university hospital Leicester rheumatology research team. I am chief investigator on many multinational studies. My particular clinical interests and expertise are in back pain, Rheumatoid arthritis, Psoriatic arthritis, soft tissue rheumatism, connective tissue disease like lupus and Sjogren's, bone conditions like osteoporosis, muscle disorders osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia. My clinical interests are facilitated by my expertise in ultrasound, which i use in diagnosis of arthritis as well as guided joint and spinal procedures like epidurals. I have a simple principal that all my patients should be treated as i would like myself and my family members to be treated
