About me

I am a fully qualified and accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, I work across all age groups and have particular expertise and experience of working with young people in a secure setting who have experienced a range of difficulties. I have addressed issues such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Complex Trauma, Self Harm, Psychosis, Anxiety, Low Self Esteem and Depression as well as many more. I have been working in Private practise since 2013.

I completed my undergraduate Psychology degree at The University of Aberdeen between 2002 - 2006 and started work in a secure unit for young people aged between 12 and 18 in 2007, working first in the unit setting before joining a smaller more specialised intervention team in 2009. I completed my Post Graduate Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy diploma at the University of Dundee in 2014 which is Accredited by both the NHS and the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapists.
