About me
I was appointed Consultant General Surgeon (with special interest in Endocrine and Breast Surgery) to Royal United Hospital Bath in 1994.
I work closely with multi-disciplinary members to ensure the highest quality of surgical practice in both my NHS and private work. I am passionate about surgical education and training and contribute at a national, regional and local level. In my local hospital RUH Bath, I was Surgical Speciality Tutor for 5 years until 2022. I have been a national JCIE Examiner for FRCS for the past 10 years

Welsh Travelling Scholarship for additional training in Endocrine Surgery excellence with Prof C Proye, Lille & Prof H Röher, Dusseldorf.
BAETS Travelling Scholarship for further training in Endocrine Surgery with Professor N Thompson, Michigan, and Dr J van Heerden, Mayo Clinic USA.
