About me

Dr Chan is a Neurologist at Maidstone and King’s College hospitals. In addition to his expertise in general neurology (headache, epilepsy, MS, Parkinson’s, stroke), he specialises in cognitive disorders.

He established the Cognitive Neurology Service in Kent providing a state-of-the-art diagnostic service for people with young-onset and atypical dementia. He belongs to the Kent Young-Onset Dementia Network and collaborates closely with Alzheimer’s Society.

He graduated in London, completed a sub-internship at the Mayo Clinic, trained at the National Hospital for Neurology in London and was awarded distinction for his MSc in Cognitive Neuropsychology at UCL, exploring neural mechanisms underlying memory and emotion.
