About me

In an increasingly chaotic and noisy world, counselling can offer an opportunity to slow down, to be heard and to have the time to work out what's genuinely right for you. I provide a safe and supportive space, where together we can identify and explore any issue/s you want to address, and clarify any changes you might like to make, in order to be able to lead a more fulfilling life.

I am a BACP accredited and registered counsellor, with over 20 years' counselling experience. After initially working as a student and staff counsellor in universities and in Further Education, since 2010 I have also worked in private practice with clients referred through a range of Employee Assistance Programmes, as well as with private and insurance referrals.
With extensive experience of counselling in educational and workplace settings, I have worked with individuals from widely varying backgrounds and sectors, including professionals working in education, public services, media, health, arts and corporate sectors, as well as students from A-level to PhD level. Alongside my private practice work, since 2015 I also work as a counsellor and consultant in partnership with a global organisation for international students.

I am a trained Person Centred counsellor and I have also undertaken further training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Drawing on different approaches and ideas underpinned by evidence based practice, I work in an integrative way, ensuring that the therapy is tailored to your individual preferences and needs.

I currently work with adults (18+) in my private practice.
