About me

I am a BACP accredited and registered counsellor, with over 20 years' counselling experience. I offer a safe and supportive space, where we can work together to explore any issue/s you want to address, and clarify any changes you might like to make, in order to be able to lead a more fulfilling life.

With 14 years' experience working as a student and staff counsellor in universities and in further education, I have also worked in private practice since 2010, taking Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) referrals, as well as private and insurance referrals. I have extensive experience of working with individuals from widely varying backgrounds and sectors, including professionals in education, public services, media, health, arts and corporate sectors, as well as students from A-level to PhD level. Alongside my private practice work, since 2015 I also work as a counsellor and consultant in partnership with a global organisation for international students.

Having originally trained as a Person Centred counsellor, I have also undertaken further training in other approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Drawing on different models and ideas underpinned by evidence based practice, I work in an integrative way, ensuring that the therapy is tailored to your individual preferences and needs.

I work with adults (18+) and I offer online and in person appointments.
