About me

I, Dr Namita Arora, am a Consultant in Pain Medicine and Anaesthetics at Peterborough, Stamford and Hinchingbrooke Hospitals (North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust). I have worked in this substantive Consultant post since 2014.

I am a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FFPMRCA). I have done advanced pain training from University Hospitals of Leicester and Guys and St. Thomas’ hospital London. I have worked as a Locum Consultant in Pain Medicine and Anaesthetics at Oxford University Hospitals prior to my appointment as a substantive consultant.

She provide consultation, medical management and interventional treatment for a variety of chronic pain conditions including fibromyalgia, back pain, sciatica, sacroiliac joint pain, failed back surgery syndrome, abdominal pain, pelvic pain, vulvodynia, bladder pain syndrome, neck pain, neuropathic pain like post herpetic neuralgia, radicular pain, knee pain both pre and post-surgical, shoulder pain etc.

I provide back and neck steroid injections including facet joint injections, sacroiliac joint injections, epidurals, occipital nerve blocks for headaches, peripheral joint injections including knee shoulder and hip joint, trigger point injections, nerve root blocks for sciatica and radicular pain and radiofrequency treatment.
