About me

The Physiotherapy Department, at The Alexandra Hospital, consists of Chartered Physiotherapists, hand therapists and healthcare professionals.
The team work closely with experienced consultants to achieve the best outcome for the patient. Following treatment, patients can receive a bespoke care plan, and have the opportunity to enrol in physio-led classes, including Pilates, to improve function, mobility and flexibility.
The physiotherapy services on offer at The Alexandra Hospital are suitable for those who have been affected by injury, surgery, illness or disability. The Physiotherapy Team can treat many conditions, and symptoms, through a variety of techniques. These may consist of movement and exercise, manual therapy, hydrotherapy, acupuncture, shockwave therapy or manipulation.
