About us

Twelve chartered physiotherapists make up our physio team with different specialities in specific areas of the body. This means that rather than receiving treatment from a generalist in a small practice you will have access to a physiotherapist specialising in your area of need.

Spire Leicester Hospital physiotherapy team are an integral part of the clinical body and form part of the support team for our consultants. This means they use the latest research and evidence based methods of treatment in their clinical practice. Physiotherapists have regular opportunities to discuss cases with consultants, whether for an individual who is being treated in conjunction with a surgeon or simply for input with patients receiving outpatient treatment.

Spire Leicester Hospital's physiotherapists are also able to refer patients for X-ray, ultrasound and other scans to aid diagnosis. This means that in addition to aiding your treatment, your diagnostic test will already have been completed, which will enable a much more streamlined service once you see the consultant.

Our physiotherapists treat musculo-skeletal problems in children from the age of 12 years and up.

There is plenty of free on site parking provided and we are open from 8.30am till 8.00pm Monday to Thursday closing at 4.30pm on Fridays.
