About me

Dr Mihaylov is a Consultant in Pain Management and Anaesthesia at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthetists, London, UK.
Dr Mihaylov completed a recognised Fellowship in Advanced Pain Medicine in University College London Hospitals and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.

Procedures / treatments undertaken:
-Transforaminal epidural injections: lumbar, thoracic
-Interlaminar epidural injections: lumbar, thoracic, cervical
-Epidural injections via the caudal route
-Percutaneous radiofrequency denervation of lumbar and cervical facet joints
-Intra – articular facet joint injections: lumbar, cervical, thoracic
-Thoracic intercostal nerve blocks
-Sacroiliac joint intra – articular injections

Areas of interest

Treatment of pain arising from the spine (e.g. back pain, neck pain); Pain associated with spinal surgery; Neuropathic pain due to nerve injury; Pain arising from injury of the brachial plexus; Pain related to Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome.
