About me

I have worked in counselling services for general counselling, survivors of sexual abuse and post traumatic stress disorder and a service for people with problematic use of alcohol. I am interested in working with traumatic memories and EMDR, Sensorimotor methods and Internal Family Systems therapy are very effective in this work. I am an Accredited Member of BACP and an Accredited EMDR Consultant and Supervisor. I am a retired consultant paediatrician and have worked in the UK, Jamaica, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Libya, United Arab Emirates, Malawi and South Africa.
