About me
Dr Cheent is a Consultant Gastroenterologist with a specialist focus in Hepatology. He graduated from Imperial College in 2002, achieving distinctions and multiple academic prizes, before completing his junior doctor training in London. He then undertook comprehensive specialist training on the North West Thames rotation, working in leading centres such as Hammersmith Hospital and St Mary's Hospital.
In 2009, he received a prestigious Wellcome Trust Research Training Fellowship, allowing him to conduct research within the Department of Hepatology at St Mary's Hospital, London. He went on to earn his PhD from Imperial College in 2013. Dr Cheent has presented his research at national and international conferences and has published in several high-impact medical journals.
