Experience
I studied Medicine at St.John's Medical College, Bangalore, India, followed by post graduate training in General Medicine (MD-General Medicine) at Madras Medical College, Chennai, India. I came to the UK in 2002, and have trained in various hospitals since then. I completed higher specialist training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology in the Welsh Rotation, and received my Certificate of Completion in Training (CCT) in 2011. I spent six months at the Liver Unit at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham as an Honorary Consultant in 2012-2013.
I have worked as a consultant in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Cardiff and Vale NHS trust since 2011.

Abdominal pain and weight loss; heartburn; indigestion and reflux symptoms; diarrhoea; vomiting; jaundice; anaemia; malabsorption ( including Coeliac disease); Irritable Bowel Syndrome, constipation; rectal bleeding ; stomach pain and discomfort; abdominal bloating ; problems swallowing; liver problems ; change in bowel habits ; tummy pain; loose stools ; worried about bowel cancer and other gastrointestinal symptoms.
