About me

I am a qualified PSYCHODYNAMIC PSYCHOTHERAPIST providing therapy and consultations for adults and adolescents. In order to meet the needs of the individual, I draw on an a variety of theoretical models and provide both brief and longer-term therapy.
I have over 20 years experience of working
with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings, including schools, family clinics, primary care settings and therapeutic communities.
I am trained and accredited as a DIT PRACTITIONER (Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy), an approach which now forms part of an NHS approved treatment for anxiety and depression.
In addition to my clinical work, I was a
LECTURER on the MSc Psychodynamic Counselling with Children and Adolescents at Birkbeck College/University of London for 7 years.
I am registered with the BPC (British Psychoanalytic Council) and an accredited member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and work within their ethical frameworks.
