About me

Therapy is about change and finding ways to help you to understand yourself and make some changes so that you can achieve your goals in a way which fits with your values. CBT analyses the problems you are facing so that you can understand what is maintaining the problems, gain insight and learn to break the vicious cycles or stuckness you may be experiencing.

I am an accredited and experienced CBT therapist specialising in working with depression and anxiety problems. I work with clients over 18 years old.

I am experienced in helping with the following:

1. To feel less stressed or anxious.
2. To feel less lost, unmotivated or stuck.
3. To feel less isolated, misunderstood or alone.
4. To feel more confident socially.
5. To feel less low or depressed.
6. To make sense of change and adjustments.
7. To improve relationships.
8. To overcome problems at work.

I hold a Doctorate in Counselling and Psychotherapy (non-medical), MSc in Counselling Psychology (Distinction) and PG Diploma in CBT (Distinction). I am also trained in online therapy. Prior to training as a therapist, I worked as a Financial Controller in The City and have good insight into the demands of corporate life. I find my work as a therapist very rewarding and meaningful.

Areas of interest
