About me
Mr Attar is a consultant urological surgeon who has been awarded the Certificate of Excellence. He is the Clinical Lead of the Urology Department at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in Central London.
Mr Attar works at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, Lister, Princess Grace and Cromwell Hospitals. Beside his experience in General and Diagnostic Urology (prostate, kidney, penile, testis and bladder conditions), he subspecialises in endourological management of complex kidney stones using minimally-invasive techniques and laser technology as well as the diagnosis and treatment of kidney and ureteric urothelial tumours. He finished his higher surgical training in London and spent his final year at University College London Hospital, where he received extensive training in treating complex kidney stones by percutaneous techniques (PCNL).
Mr Attar is active academically and has published numerous articles. He has presented his work in different international and national meetings and has participated in changing surgical practice. He is passionate about teaching and regularly lectures GPS, junior urology trainees, medical students and nursing staff.
Mr Attar lives with his wife and three children in London. He is interested in studying languages, playing classical guitar and swimming.
