About us

Kirk is a well-respected Physiotherapist with over 20 years’ experience of working in elite sport, notably for the England Cricket Team from 2002 until 2011 during a highly successful period when England won 3 Ashes series and becoming Twenty20 World Champions in 2010. Currently working as Head of Science & Medicine at Gloucestershire CCC. Was also Head of Medical Services with the Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier Cricket League, from 2011-2013 as worked with Tottenham Hotspur & Saints Rugby.

He has worked in a number of other sports at the elite level, including Tottenham Hotspur FC, Northampton Saints, London Olympics & British Bobsleigh. At the Olympics he was based in the Athlete’s Village Polyclinic, treating athletes across a diverse range of sports, including athletics, weightlifting, gymnastics and beach volleyball. Last 2 years I have been the official physiotherapist for the Aquae Sulis Swimming club based at the University of Bath.

As a physiotherapist Kirk is passionate and highly experienced in all areas of physiotherapy. He strongly believes in getting to the root cause of the problem and creating specific treatment programmes, aimed at full injury recovery. He is very much a “hands on” physiotherapist whose attention to detail focuses on a functional approach to achieving successful rehabilitation.
