About me

Miss Sanjay Kumari is a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist working in Royal Free London NHS Trust based at Barnet/ Chase Farm Hospital. She also works in CCG commissioned community gynaecology clinics at various locations in and around North London. She finished her training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from London Deanery. She is an accredited colposcopist by RCOG/BSCCP. She has done advanced training in hysteroscopic surgery
Her special areas of interest are general gynaecology including menstrual disorders, fibroids, Polycystic ovaries (PCOS), pelvic pain, endometriosis, miscarriage, menopause, HRT, sexual health, and colposcopy/ management of abnormal smears. She is an experienced gynaecologist and surgeon with excellent outcomes. She is proficient in open and laparoscopic surgery including myomectomy for fibroids, hysterectomy, ovarian cysts. She offers hysteroscopic surgery especially hysteroscopic resection of fibroids and removal of polyps. She is trained in outpatient removal of polyps using Truclear without the need for anaesthesia, hospital admission thereby quick recovery for the women. She believes in holistic approach to the management of the women's health conditions. She firmly believes in one stop management options for menstrual disorders and endometrial polyps. She is accredited in Colposcopy by BSCCP/RCOG.
She is actively involved in clinical governance and worked as the Audit lead for Women's health at Barnet Hospital. She is a keen trainer and has successfully led the Simulation based teaching for the obstetrics and gynaecolgy. She is trained in PROMPT and is part of the PROMPT team for the teaching and training in her trust. She was the lead for Colposcopy services at Barnet Hospital.
She passionately believes in providing high quality, world class and safe care to all of her gynaecolgy and Obstetrics patients.
