About me

I trained as a junior doctor and then as a specialist trainee in Respiratory and General Medicine in the West Midlands. I received further training in Sleep Medicine and Non-invasive ventilation and completed European qualifications as Certified Sleep Expert.
I have keen interest in research and running and participating in various trials. I look after patients with complains of shortness of breath, respiratory illnesses e.g COPD, Asthma, Lung cancer, pleural disease, pleural effusions etc, and also provide specialist services for Sleep Apnoea- both obstructive and central, sleep walking, sleep talking, narcolepsy, and all other sleep disorders, we also provide care for the patients in ventilatory failure needing support at home.
I supervise, support and lead various services at regional level. I am keen teacher and trainer with various responsibilities and trainees from medical and non-medical backgrounds.
Squash and Cricket are my sporting interests which I actively participate in.
