About me

Mr Simon Moyes is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a practice specialising in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery for knee, shoulder, foot and ankle problems. He is an international member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
Simon trained on The Westminster Hospital registrar programme and The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospitals (RNOH) senior registrar programme, and was a lecturer at the RNOH. He was then appointed to UCL. Each year, Simon carries out approximately 500 arthroscopic/minimally invasive operations and is interested in researching and developing new arthroscopic techniques.
These include arthroscopic shoulder stabilisations and rotator cuff repairs, arthroscopic treatment for ankle arthritis and instability, arthroscopically assisted knee ligament reconstruction and cartilage repair.
Simon is also interested in advances in stem cell usage.
