About me
Dr Fishman has over a decade of experience in dermatology in the UK. She holds a substantive NHS Consultant Dermatologist post at London Northwest Healthcare NHS Trust (Northwick Park and St Mark's Hospitals).
Education:
Dr Fishman qualified from the University of London (St George’s Hospital Medical School) in 2004. After training in general surgery and general medicine, she chose to specialise in dermatology. She completed higher specialist dermatology training at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, University of Cambridge. During her training she regularly taught dermatology to University of Cambridge undergraduates.
Clinical work:
Dr Fishman is an integral part of the skin cancer team and performs screening, diagnosis and surgical treatment of all types of benign and malignant skin lesions. She is clinical lead for complex medical dermatology including conditions such as psoriasis, acne, rosacea, eczema, hair and nail disorders. She is principal investigator for several key clinical trials and has published both nationally and internationally. She regularly teaches dermatology to undergraduates at Imperial College School of Medicine, and postgraduates including GPs.
Dr Fishman treats adults, children and babies with all skin problems.
